9:19 pm - That is it...
It is fucking over.

Shilling you fucking idiot. You haaaaaad to talk shit before the series even fucking began. Now look. You think we have a shot after your shitty fucking performance. Thanks a lot.

Red Sox fans, give it up. We aren't going to win it this year, we aren't going to win it any year. Screw it, I'm not going to waste my time any more.

Name a CD you own that no-one else on your friends list does: Toni Braxton's "Unbreak my heart" the dance club remix. Return of the Mack on CD single

Name a book you own that no-one else on your friends list does. Aikido and the Dynamic Sphere. Pretty dull reading for a non-martial artist. Expensive to boot.

Name a movie you own on DVD/VHS/whatever that no-one else on your friends list does. Autographed movies featuring Crystal Gunns, Raylene, Lovette, Stephanie Swift

Name a place that you have visited that no-one else on your friends list has. The Erie County Correctional facility, on the wrong side of the bars :-(

Not how I really wanted to spend the second half of my four day weekend. I was up pretty late last night, because I tend to dwell on things that bother me.

I went out to the Package store on Sunday to get some beer for the games on Sunday. Tina asked me to return the bottles when I did this. So I managed to spill some of the left over beer from the previous weekend on me. Not really a great start to the day.

So I was driving, on West Boylston St. There was this Tan Chevy Blazer in front of me, driving about 20 MPH. I was pretty annoyed, being already covered in beer, and now being stuck behind this guy. So I pull to the right to pass this guy. As I pull to pass him on the right, he swerves and tries to move into the lane I'm in. I swerve to the right, and hit the curve (the one rim on the car is now ruined, but I didn't realize that till last night). So I blow the horn, and this guy slows down.

He was a pretty thin looking white kid, with a Yankees hat on backwards, and hair in full cornrows. I mouth "what the fuck are you doing?" and he flips me the bird. So I pass him, and am in front of him. He starts to tailgate me, so I slow down, to let him pass. He eventually gets on the side of me, flips me the bird again, and then I let him pass.

After that, he pulls in front of me, and slams on the brakes. So I stop, and prepare myself. He starts to get out of the car, and I am guessing he was about 6-1... about 180 lbs. Not really a strong build. I get out of the SUV, and I'm 6-4, 240. He starts to get back in and I scream him down "what bitch... WHAT BITCH, DO SOMETHING..." and start doing the Rock just bring it hand at him. He gets in his Blazer, and starts to call someone. Actually, I thought at first he was getting a gun. So I start to drive, and he starts to get in front of me again.

So he is driving at about 10 MPH but won't let me pass. So I see the package store about 100 feet ahead, so I hit the gas like I'm going to pass him on the right, and he speeds up, and I just pull into the parking lot. Done right?

Wrong.

Dude busted a U-turn at the light further up and came back. At this point my adrenaline is pumped up. I get out of the Santa Fe, and he just parks, but won't get out of the car. I stand there for a few minutes, and he just sits on his cell-phone, not doing anything. I eventually think he is just trying to punk me, so I go grab the empties, and start going to return them.

Well, after a few minutes, he pulls off. Then, about 30 seconds later this bright orange car pulls in, and it is this short overweight dude in a hatch back, and he is looking around. He looks at me, and gives me this scowl.

So I went over to the door and asked them to call the cops.

The white dude with the corn rows had parked in the next lot over, and he was screaming to the dude in the Orange car "yo dogg, come here, yo dogg... yo dogg" in this high pitched nasally voice. I got to admit, I was fucking scared at this point. I didn't know if they had a gun, or some knives or some shit, but he called his boy over on his cellphone, and I knew I was about to get jumped.

In order to get to the adjacent lot, the orange hatch back dude had to leave the parking lot, and go around. I seized the moment and ran to the Santa Fe (which the dude with the corn rows was actually on the other side of) popped open the back, and grabbed the baseball bat I usually do batting practice with. Then I backed off again, and those two met up in the adjacent lot (I'll get a picture of this set up later, but basically there was a little wooden railing separating the two lots, they were about 5 feet away from my car).

All of a sudden, this older gentlemen comes up to me and asks "what the hell is going on". It turns out he is a corrections officer, and he had his gun with him, and he had my back. Then this other guy came out of the store, because he saw what was going on, and he said he had our back as well.

Just then, the clerk finally had the police on the phone, and brought the phone out where I was. I went inside to tell the police what was happening, and the two wiggers had took off.

I got to admit, I was pretty scared. I mean, dude cut me off in traffic, fucked up my rim, and him and his boy were waiting by my car. I was down to throw if it was just me and him, or maybe even me, him, and his boy if it was straight up, but I didn't know if they had a gun, or a knife or some shit.

What bothers me is, and kept me up most of last night was that my rim got ruined over this, and he basically gets away with it. I bet he is telling all his boys what a punk I was too.

I got home and told Tina the story, and she was almost in tears. I told her I was ok, and that they were keeping a pretty safe distance considering they called me out. She asked if they followed me home.

I don't think so, cowards usually run when the numbers are even. I didn't run, but I wasn't going to risk my life. So any way... I guess I'm still a little bothered, but I guess I should just let it go, huh?

1:30 pm - OK... my head hurts...
Today has been another rough day. I don't even feel like debating or talking about anything. I have a throbbing headache, and enough people bothering me to honestly make me want to go into protective custody for a while

If I have been cranky, I'm sorry. I'm not in a good mood...

Not a great night of sleep last night. Actually, I think I got about a total of two hours. I know my eyes are probably the brightest shade of red possible. I kept rolling, tossing and turning. It was weird, someone E-mailed me yesterday with this gem:

8:08 am - Quiz answers
Question 1:

Birdman was born in Rochester, NY, on Feb 4th, 1976. His mother was born in St. Catherine's Ontario, and his papa bird was born in Buffalo, New York. They were married in 1973, and three years later, ta-da! After living in Rochester for his first 12 months, the Birdman decided to make the al important move to Buffalo. After 24 years of living there (and spending time in Alfred, NY to get his college degree) he took the important move to Worcester Ma, in early Feb, 2001.

Birdman has duel citizenship, that expires November 2nd, when he votes in this Presidential election. He will no longer be a citizen (because of his mother) of Canada.

So once again, Birdman was born in Rochester.

12:45 pm - Dear Renee
I have a question. Do you know how, exactly, your hair dryer works? Like all the components and stuff?

Probably not, but it works nether the less. You just accept it.

You should do that with me. Don't ask why I'm so good at these, just know that I am, and accept it.

This is very good news... and very unexpected:

Report: Female Italian Hostages Freed

Two Italian women who were held hostage for three weeks have been released in Iraq, Reuters reported on Tuesday. A sister of one of the hostages told Reuters they had been freed, and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi (search) said they were doing well.

Well, this weekend went pretty well. Tina and I got to hang out with Shanna and Eric again. They are very enjoyable to be around, and I am looking forward to having them over several times for the baseball playoffs, and possibly (hopefully) the World Series. The Sox were looking to get back on track a little bit, but probably won't catch the Yankees for the AL Easy (unless the Sox run the table, and the Yankees melt against the Twins). Being an ashamed girlie man, I have an issue with the elections in Iraq, and a possibility on the horizon that I don't think many people have thought of... we shall see though.

12:06 pm - A regrettable but honest choice...
I don't really want to answer questions about this, and this is a private and personal decision. I am going to leave two communities on LJ because I don't want to get caught between the friction of the two. I cannot leave one, without hurting the "feelings" of the other, or at least having my motivations questioned.

One is already seemingly turning and attracting a very anti-George Bush crowd, which is their choice if they wish to do that. The other seems to be going through a censorship battle with its members. I don't want to choose sides in this, and I don't think I should have to, since I feel I'd have a hard time doing either.

I do troll a community with a lot of liberals, and my words have never been censored there, so for what that is worth. If I say something, they let it stand on its own merits, and I feel all communities should be like that, unless it is blatant racism. With that community though, if I feel I need a break, or if they need a break, I recluse myself till either they seem ready, or I am ready again.

That being said, I'd like to thank both communities for their acceptance. I am non-Hebrew, so at times it made it hard for me to comment on things, so I often remained silent. I think in general I was met with silence in my replies, so I guess it all balanced out. :-)

I am sure both communities will do well, and I am not posting this to be dramatic or anything, I just feel that I don't belong in either, and at the end of the day, I was beginning to get frustrated with both of them.

So, in essence, if I have to get worked up in order to post, it just isn't worth it.

Mike.

9:36 am - I'm not going to watch the video.
The stuff inside this post may upset some, so don't click it. I'm not going to post the video, or the pictures of the video, but I am going to post the pictures of the victims before what happened, so we can put a face on it. These weren't soldiers... these were interrogators. They were human beings trying to give the Iraqi people hope. They were there to help with the water supply, and school projects

It is finally about time I wrote a half way decent update. I don't know what has been wrong with my writing lately, but I have been in sort of a funk. I don't know. Not spiritually or in my personal life, just in one of those ruts where I don't feel like writing, even when I get the time. Ah well. I guess I have an opportunity to pound something out today.
